Special Olympics SA State Games Opening Ceremony

Radical Textiles

This stunning, diverse and colourful exhibition celebrates the cutting-edge innovations, enduring traditions and shared knowledge woven into fabric over the past 150 years. Featuring 100 makers, artists, designers and activists, this major exhibition draws on the Art Gallery of South Australia’s international, Australian and First Nations collections of textiles and fashion, as well as sculpture, painting, photography and moving image.

Cultured
23 November
Cultured is a unique, multicultural event celebrating the lives of South Australians with refugee and multicultural backgrounds. Held at Four Oaks Farm in the Adelaide Hills, it offers great food and fabulous live performances. Enjoy workshops, special multicultural lunches and dinners, and explore the stalls while taking in the tranquil farm environment. Come along for a day of cultural immersion and community connection.
Multicultural Festival
24 November
This colourful festival is the state government’s flagship event for promoting and showcasing multiculturalism in SA. More than 80 multicultural community organisations will display their diverse cultures across music, dance, food, art and lots more fun activities. Try Tai Chi, experience a Congolese hair-wrapping workshop, make a traditional Ukrainian Motanka doll or just soak up the diverse entertainment on the main stage in all its multicultural glory. This free event, happening in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, is fun for the whole family.

Port Noarlunga Blues Festival
29 November – 1 December
South Australia’s largest blues festival is set to bring three days of rhythm and soul to Port Noarlunga. With both free and ticketed events showcasing local and interstate talent, this family-friendly festival promises to be a feast for blues lovers.
