South Australia is investing to hit a 100 per cent renewables target by 2030, and part of this effort is the new Hydrogen Power Plant proposed for the Upper Spencer Gulf.

The topic of hydrogen can be muddied by all the different ways it can be used, so Matt Gilbertson, Anna, and Tim bring in the expert.

Joining this episode of Hot Topics is Professor Michael Goodsite, Pro Vice Chancellor for Energy Futures at the University of Adelaide and Director of its Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources. Michael breaks down the need-to-know for South Aussies and explains the benefits to this world-class facility due to be completed in 2025.
