Since 2020, the South Australian Government has been phasing out single-use plastics, with each year marking a new phase until 2025. From September 2023, we’re phasing out plastic bowls and plates, plastic-stemmed cotton buds, and plastic pizza box savers. 

Matt Gilbertson, Anna Kantilaftas, and Tim Whiffen talk about the positives of banning harmful waste, while also navigating our own admission of over-reliance on plastics.
