It’s that time of the year again when Australians get to celebrate food right here on our doorstep in South Australia, the food capital. Tasting Australia is here.

More than 150 culinary events held across 12 regions, Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel is back from 28 April until 7 May.

Town Square in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga is the epicentre of it all, and is open every day of the festival with free entry.

There’s plenty on offer. From local food vendors to national and international food and drink specialists gathering in South Australia for the ultimate celebration of culinary brilliance.

Don’t miss the chance to try local fare including delicious pipis from Kuti Shack, mac and cheese by Chefs on Wheels, or anything served up from Peel Street Restaurant.

Other food vendors include Filipino Project, CARŌCLUB, Crepe Bar, Victoria Park Social Club, Hubba Hubba Hummus, Taco Cartel, Phat Head, Boston Bay Smallgoods X Smokin’ Grillers, Shibui, Dawn Patrol Coffee and Lukoumades.

If you’re planning to attend some events, visit Tasting Australia’s website.

In the meantime, check out some photos of a few of the offerings at Town Square to tantalise your taste buds.
