In episode one of The Post’s Hot Topics podcast, Anna Kantilaftas, Matt Gilbertson and Tim Whiffen take a look at sport festivals in SA.

You may have heard, it’s time to get together and celebrate the inaugural Festival of Footy and AFL Gather Round being hosted in our hometown of Adelaide.

As the state prepares for all AFL games to descend into Adelaide and SA regions for a whirlwind round of footy matches, what does our obsession with sport mean to us? Why is SA getting so busy and is it a good thing?

Matt and Tim aren’t normally sports mad, Anna is partial to a bit of footy, but they’re all gearing up for a ripper April in Adelaide.
